"Patch of Dirt" The BIG Decision


After following many of the strategies that were presented in the numerous books I have about marketing your product, and from conference notes and other sources, I have sold 8 copies and given others away for consignment or to friends with the caveat that they give it a review. Numerous "promotion" sites have yielded nothing.

After a conversation with my publisher and her hopes for my novel, which she really likes, she suggested that I want to start thinking about a publicity campaign that will include a national radio campaign and a local publicity campaign in 3 markets.

The goal is to get the book onto amazon's list of the 100 top books. The press works with an experienced professional whom I have contacted.

Yes, a nationwide publicity campaign is expensive, but like having a professional edit your MS it is necessary.
